SAI Technology Announces Complete Software Platforms for LTE/Wi-Fi Mobile Access and SDN Cloud Infrastructure
INTEROP, LAS VEGAS – 7th May 2013 – SAI Technology, Inc., a leading LTE, Wi-Fi, Mobile SDN and Cloud RAN technologies company, today announced its LTE Advanced Software solutions (PHY Layer L1, L2 & L3) running on the Marvell® ARMADA® XP multi-core cloud processor SoC platform. The companies will demonstrate Mobile SDN and Cloud RAN, including LTE UE, eNB, Wi-Fi access points and complete EPC core end-to-end capabilities that are fully compliant with the latest 3GPP LTE-A Release 10 compliant solutions standards at Interop. The event will be held May 6 -10 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
SAI now enables LTE Advanced distributed mobile SDN and cloud RAN capabilities, including support for Cloud UE devices, CPE, 802.11ac Access Points (APs), and Packet Gateways running on all ARM-based compute and storage solutions. The result is a lower TCO than x86 based solutions, while enabling a next-generation user experience and real-time video applications. Marvell’s software defined storage, networking, compute and mobility solutions powered by SAI software constitute complete ARM-based platform offerings.
