If you have Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) (or later) and you are having problems with Collect’s buttons not working or problems navigating to parts of collect screens or exporting data; you will need to switch your browser’s settings (e.g. the cog at top right) to use (tick) “compatibility mode” or “compatibility view” in the browser (adding the collect website address if necessary – depending on the version of your browser). If you don’t have access to your browser’s menus or the compatibility options mentioned in this guidance then contact your IT support staff to carry out the tasks.


Navigate to Collect login page and click on “compatibility view” button (or from the setting menu choose the ‘compatibility’option…

After clicking on the compatibility view button/option, IE8 confirms this via the pop up message below.
