Post-Installation Checklist Once the server has been deployed, the following must be completed by the Application Manager.
1. Log a call to Technology Solutions to ensure that:

The server is backed up by Commvault (if required), having identified the data for backup and specified the backup frequency and appropriate storage policy.

The server is added to the Master ITD Server List?

The server been registered in WSUS?
-
The server been registered in Forefront?
-
The server been set up in Password Manager Pro?
-
The operating system is licensed.

If a physical server, that the server is covered by warranty or under maintenance.
2. Log a call to CommNet to ensure that:

The server has been set up in What’s Up Gold? Please state what is to be monitored.

If this is a web server, that the server has gone through vulnerability scanning?

What is the name of the server?
-
Has the Storage Policy been selected and set up in CommVault?
-
Has data been identified for backup and set up on CommVault?
-
Has the server been added to the Master Server List?
-
Has the server been set up in Password Manager Pro?
-
If this is a web server, has the server gone through vulnerability scanning?
This information is sent to the Quality Officer as part of the Change Control procedure.
