Signed and Encrypted icons
he lower-right pane of Windows Mail should show the message you sent, with the two icons shown below on this page, showing that the message is signed and encrypted.
Click in the title bar of the "Windows Mail" window to ensure that it is the active window.
Hold down the Alt key and press the PrintScrn key in the upper-right portion of the keyboard. That will copy the active window to the clipboard.
Click Start, "All Programs", Accessories, Paint. In the untitled - Paint window, select Edit, Paste from the menu bar. The image appears in the Paint window.
In the untitled - Paint window, click File, Save. Save the document with the filename Your Name Proj X1.
Turning in your Project
Email the JPEG image to me as an attachment to an e-mail message. Send the message to: cnit.335@gmail.com with a subject line of CNIT 335 Proj X1From Your Name, replacing Your Name with your own first and last name. Send a Cc to yourself.
Note: You should really back up your certificate before using it for important email. However, as far as I can determine, the free Comodo certificates cannot be backed up properly in Vista right now—the private key is set to be non-exportable. I sent an inquiry to Comodo about it, and hopefully they will have a satisfactory answer.
