Implementation of the research results. Based on the obtained scientific 
results on economic views on the development of the economy and the service 
sector in Uzbekistan in the Middle Ages: 
The concepts of “pilgrimage tourism”, education and upbringing”, “material 
interest” that developed in the early stages of human history, the author‟s approach 
was defined and theoretical and methodological proposals were developed to 
create favorable conditions for the development of the tourism potential in 
Uzbekistan.

These proposals were used in the implementation of the tasks set in Decree 
UP-5326 "On additional organizational measures to create favorable conditions for 
the development of the tourism potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan" 
(Reference
No. 03-17-02 / 4646 of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of 
Uzbekistan dated August 4, 2021 of the year). As a result, the practical application 
of these recommendations made it possible to comprehensively assess the study of 
the social and economic aspects of tourism services; 
It is substantiated that in the Middle Ages, as a result of the division of labor
the service sector was formed and the use of indicators evaluating development 
trends, such as labor productivity, profit, efficiency, and theoretical and 
methodological proposals were developed. 
these proposals were used in the implementation of the tasks set in Decree 
UP-5326 “On additional organizational measures to create favorable conditions for 
the development of the tourism potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan” 
(Reference
No. 03-17-02 / 4646 of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of 
Uzbekistan dated August 4, 2021 of the year). Based on the use of scientific 
results, the possibilities for the development of the service sector have been 
expanded; 
theoretically substantiated that in the Middle Ages, ensuring the harmony of 
material wealth and spiritual factors was used in the life of mankind, as a guide and 
manual for its development, scientific proposals are included in the textbooks on 
the "History of Economic Doctrines" and "Economic Theory", recommended for 
students (Approved by the decision Academic Council of the Samarkand Institute 
of Economics and Service dated October 31, 2022, registration certificate No. 3; 
license of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education No. 274 
dated March 27, 2018); The use of scientific results served to expand the views and 
skills of students related to the development of the economy and service industries; 
substantiated that socio-economic well-being can be achieved not only 
through "obedience, prayer", but also on the basis of the formation of a sense of 
belonging of each citizen to the cooperation of the state and society. These 
proposals were used to create the scripts for the programs “Theme” and 
“Presentation” of the TV and radio channel “O„zbekiston tarixi” of the National 
TV and Radio Company of the Republic of Uzbekistan. (Certificate of the National 
Television and Radio Company of the Republic of Uzbekistan, TV and radio 
channel Uzbekistan, No. 01-02-1500 dated September 24, 2021); 
It was substantiated that in the Middle Ages, labor played a big role in the 
development of agriculture, in improving cultural and educational life, and in 
improving the service sector. These proposals were used to create the scripts for 
the programs “Theme” and “Presentation” of the TV and radio channel 
“O„zbekiston tarixi” of the National TV and Radio Company of the Republic of 
Uzbekistan. (Certificate of the National Television and Radio Company of the
