Access to Internet

Internet access is the process of connecting to the internet using personal computers, laptops or mobile devices by users or enterprises.

Software

the programs and other operating information used by a computer

Hardware

the machines, wiring, and other physical components of a computer or other electronic system.

Peripherals

A peripheral is any computing device or equipment that is part of the computer but doesn’t perform any core computing process.

An application program (application or app for short) is a computer program designed to carry out a specific task other than one relating to the operation of the computer itself, typically to be used by end-users.

Java

Java is a general-purpose, class-based, object-oriented programming language designed for having lesser implementation dependencies. It is a computing platform for application development. Java is fast, secure, and reliable, therefore. It is widely used for developing Java applications in laptops, data centers, game consoles, scientific supercomputers, cell phones, etc.

CMS (content management system)

A content management system (CMS) is an application that is used to manage content, allowing multiple contributors to create, edit and publish. Content in a CMS is typically stored in a database and displayed in a presentation layer based on a set of templates like a website.

Deployment

Deployment encompasses all the processes involved in getting new software or hardware up and running properly in its environment, including installation, configuration, running, testing, and making necessary changes.

Malware

Malware (short for “malicious software”) is a file or code, typically delivered over a network, that infects, explores, steals or conducts virtually any behavior an attacker wants.

Bandwidth

The maximum amount of data transmitted over an internet connection in a given amount of time.

Browser

A browser is an application program that provides a way to look at and interact with all the information on the World Wide Web.

CPU (central processing unit)

the component of a computer system that performs the basic operations (such as processing data) of the system, that exchanges data with the system's memory or peripherals, and that manages the system's other components

RAM (random access memory)

Random access memory (RAM) is a computer's short-term memory, which it uses to handle all active tasks and apps. None of your programs, files, games, or streams would work without RAM.

ROM (read only memory)

Read-only memory, or ROM, is a type of computer storage containing non-volatile, permanent data that, normally, can only be read, not written to. ROM contains the programming that allows a computer to start up or regenerate each time it is turned on. ROM also performs large input/output (I/O) tasks and protects programs or software instructions. Once data is written on a ROM chip, it cannot be removed.

Encryption

Encryption is any system for security and fraud prevention which automatically breaks up and reorders information before it is sent via telephone lines or the Internet.

A database is a systematic collection of data. They support electronic storage and manipulation of data. Databases make data management easy.

Back up

Backup refers to the process of making copies of data or data files to use in the event the original data or data files are lost or destroyed.

Cloud computing

Cloud computing is a means of providing computing services (including databases, servers, software, and networking) via the internet, allowing the user to bypass direct management of those systems. Cloud computing is a way to remotely store and access data and programming that utilizes the internet rather than hosting information on your computer’s hard drive.
