OSPF . Dinamik marshrutlash protokoli endi nisbatan universal va korporativ
tarmoqlarda sozlash oson , u eng qisqa marshrutni topadi ( Ochiq Qisqasi Yo'l Birinchidan Protokol (OSPF)). Protokol dastlab murakkab topologiyaga ega (65536 marshrutizatorgacha) yirik tarmoqlarda ishlash uchun moʻljallangan edi. U aloqa kanali holati algoritmiga asoslangan va tarmoq holatidagi o'zgarishlarga juda chidamli.
