THE SPECTRUM OF SOLAR LIGHT
N.S.Abduhalilov, X.M.Baratov
Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology
Abstract. The relevance of the topic of the article is that it is devoted to the use of energy-
efficient and environmentally friendly technology, that is, solar energy, which has great practical
significance for "sunny" Uzbekistan. The article provides information about the use of solar energy,
its methods, solar devices and the possibilities of their use in the conditions of Uzbekistan.
Keywords: Radiation in the atmosphere, Horizon, dispersion of sunlight, dispersion of light,
anomalous dispersion, normal dispersion, Contiguous spectra, Spectra, Solar spectrum.
The most powerful source of heat radiation that provides life on Earth is the sun.
The radiation of the sun, which correctly corresponds to the surface unit in the Earth's
atmosphere, is 1350 W/m
2
(1.932 kal/cm
2
min). This magnitude is called the solar constant. The
weakening of radiation in the atmosphere depends on the change in its spectral composition. In the
first figure, the spectrum of solar radiation is shown in the atmosphere (1) and on the Earth's surface
(2), where the sun is at its highest point.
