INTRODUCTION (abstract of PhD thesis)
Theme: The purpose of research:
Weeds spread in winter wheat fields in the
saline lands of karakalpakstan and the effectiveness of chemical control against them.
In the challenging agricultural landscape of Karakalpakstan,
the spread of weeds in
winter wheat fields poses a significant threat to crop productivity. This dissertation
focuses on investigating the efficacy of chemical control
measures against these
weeds in moderately saline meadow-alluvial soils. The primary objective is to assess
the impact of herbicides on the prevalent weed varieties and their subsequent
influence on winter wheat cultivation.
