The application of Glifor, a 75,7% herbicide at 1,5 kg/ha after harvest in the
non-growing season, targeted cane and perennial weeds
in a winter wheat field of
12,4 hectares in Chimboy district 7,9 hectares, Kegeili district 4,5 hectares, Republic
of Karakalpakstan. This agrotechnology led to a significant reduction of reeds and
other perennials by 76,8-82,4%, resulting in a winter wheat grain yield of 36,3-37,5
s/ha, a net profit ranging from 2187,0-2547,0 thousand soums,
and a profitability
level of 25,2-29,3%.
Similarly, the combined application of Serto Plus (75% herbicide, 100 g/ha) and
Clodimex (8% herbicide, 0,3 l/ha) against annual and perennial weeds in autumn
wheat during the growing season was implemented on a total area of 123,4 hectares
across Chimboy and Qonlikol districts. This approach
resulted in a significant
reduction of one-year weeds by 85,1-90,7% and perennial weeds by 78,8-80,7%. The
grain yield ranged from 0-2937,0 thousand soums/ha, with a profitability level of
28,2-33,7%.
