STATESMAN

Annotation:
Yalangtosh Bahadur was born in 1576 (according to other sources in 1578) to the
son of Boykhodjibiy, ruler of Nurota, founder of the Olchin tribe. According to his
contemporary Mahmud ibn Wali's "Bahr al-Asrar fi manukib al-akhyor": "The
Emir's original horse was Khatai Bahadur, and "Yalangtosh" was his nickname". In
history, this breed is mentioned by such names as Yalangtosh ibn Boykhodjibiy,
Yusuf Yalangtosh, Abdukarimbiy, Nizamiddin. "Yalangtosh" (meaning "bare-
breasted man") was awarded the honor of Bahadur for fighting in a saddle where his
chest was not covered with a shield in battles. This article describes the history of
Yalangtosh Bahadur's diplomatic life, political activity and military ability.

INTRODUCTION
This article details the history of Yalangtosh Bahadur's political career, the art of
command and his role in public administration during the Ashtarkhanid period are
based on sources. During this period, his father Boykhodjibiy and Khoja Hoshimi
came to Dahbediya (grandson of Makhdumi Azam) and stretched out their hands,
murid descended and came under his care. Later, Piri Khoja Hoshim sent him to the
service of Dinmukhammad Khan to improve his military skills. Since Boyhodzhibiy
was in court service during the reign of the Shaibanikhan, his son Yalangtoshbiy is
also growing up in the service of representatives of the ruling house. Yalangtosh
Bahadur first came to the attention of Abdullah II, Khan of Bukhara, and under his
patronage in 1590-1593 attended a special military school. As a reward for his
outstanding services to the state in 1593-1595, he served as a district judge in
Bulungur, Loyisha and Kattakurgan. From an early age, Yalangtosh Bahadur grew
up brave, proud, the owner of a sharp mind and quick wit, deeply mastered the art
