on earth was under threat. Thus, at the time when Imamgulikhan and Yalangtosh
Bahadur began joint defensive work, the Iranian army stopped at the mausoleum of
Zarman near the city of Samarkand. Since the forces were unequal, Imamgulikhan,
Yalangtosh Bahadur and other influential emirs turned to the Kazakh khans Abulai
Sultan and Ishim Sultan for help. Both Kazakh sultans, who came to the rescue, sent
their few soldiers to Samarkand for help, and themselves and their main warriors
went to plunder the urban settlements of Movarunnahr.
The continuation of events shows that Imam Kulikhan, with the help of Yalangtosh
Bahadur and other emirs, wins over both enemies - both Kazakhs and Iranian
Kyzylbash: Abulai Sultan demands villages and labyrinths around Samarkand,
returns to Turkestan. But Imamgulikhan is Yalangtosh Bahai again in the matter of
weakening the protection of ishim Sultan, who is still in Miengal, and is forced to

Samarkand region in 1612. His support of Piri Hoji Hohim is also considered
important for obtaining the post of governor. Later, Yalangtosh Bahadur was
appointed to the role of fatherhood. In the Middle Ages, paternity was one of the
highest positions equated to the ruler's father and controlled the distribution of water
resources in the Bukhara Khanate. This distribution limit varied from Samarkand to
Karakul and was mainly related to the fair distribution of water in Samarkand and
its districts from high-ranking officials to representatives of the common people.
This position also coincided with the status of the Prime Minister and was appointed
by persons of predominantly Uzbek origin. Yalangtosh Bahadur, who participated
in the battles for the territories of the khanate in the same period as Imam Kulikhan,
who ruled for more than thirty years, is gaining increasing political prominence in
state administration.
In this regard, he made a significant contribution to the campaigns organized in
Khurosan to strengthen the southern regions of Ashtarkhanid. At that time, the issue
