of Rustam Sultan, the son of Wali Muhammad Khan, another historical figure who
was an obstacle to the political stability of the Ashtarkhanid state in Movarunnahr
and Balkh, would also not have been resolved without the participation of
Yalangtosh Bahadur. Academician Boriboy Akhmedov, based on the work "Bahr
al-Asror", again provides the following information. The former ruler of Vali
Muhammad Khan leaves his son Rustam Sultan in Marva, fleeing to Iran. He also
settled in the provinces of Ubeh and Shafelon in exchange for Iranian enslavement,
often attacking the territories of Balkh, Seyston, Farah, Shibirgan, Andhuya,
Chechektu between 1612-1631, disturbing the peace in the country.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, After the embassy contacts that Nadir Muhammad Khan established
with Iran several times to solve the problem of Rustam Sultan turned out to be
fruitless, in 1623 Yalantosh sent a large army led by Bahadur against him. Rustam
Sultan was scurrying around in Iran, and as a result, the Ashtarkhan khans remained
with HIM without a problem until 1631. In 1631, Rustam Sultan again attacked the
South-western regions of Balkh. "I am again deciding with the military forces
directed against him"
– commanded by Yalangtosh Bahadur. This time he besieges
the troops of Rustam Sultan in Meruchak Castle and thus solves the problem.
Provided that the Rustam Sultan pays Hiroja for Balkh, a peace agreement will be
concluded between them and the siege will be lifted. From the above, it can be
concluded that the domestic political problems associated with the
Valimukhammadkhans and his son Rustam Sultan in the state of Ashtarkhanid, and
foreign policy issues related to the state of Iran by these persons are solved by the
active actions of Yalangtosh Bahadur.
