You can remove only those programs that you’ve already installed. Programs that come with your device cannot be removed.
Select Start > Settings > System tab > Remove Programs. In the Programs in storage memory list, select the program you’d like to remove, and select Remove. Select Yes. If another confirmation message appears, select Yes again.
Here are some of the many more ways to customize your device:
Change the backlighting: Start > Settings > Backlight
Change the display orientation from Portrait to Landscape: Start > Settings > Screen > General tab
Adjust the text size to see more content: Start > Settings > Screen > Text Size tab
