    So, there are two types of networks: LAN and WAN. LAN is for small areas like homes and offices, while WAN covers big areas like the whole world – think the Internet! LANs use Ethernet tech, kind of like the language they use to talk. Picture it like roads – LANs use CAT# cables to travel. They have helpers called devices, like HUBs and switches. WANs, on the other hand, use bigger helpers like multi-layer switches and routers. So, LANs are like local streets, and WANs are like superhighways connecting everyone worldwide!
