Tetralogy of Fallot cyanotic spells: A review of case series of patient with tetralogy of Fallot cyanotic spells found 4 of the 6 case reviews reported a decrease in the number of recurring cyanotic spells in at least 66% of the participants following introduction of beta-blockers. Side effects reported included bradycardia, wheezing and death.
