Following are recommended Internet Explorer 8 settings for cqm application

1. 
   Turn off the pop-up blocker (1.1) OR add https://mpuc-cms.maine.gov/ in allow pop-ups from specific site option (1.2)

      Internet Explorer  Tools  Internet Options  Privacy  uncheck the “turn on Pop-up Blocker” option

   Internet Explorer  Tools  Internet Options  Privacy  Pop-up blocker “Settings”  Address of website to allow  https://mpuc-cms.maine.gov/  Click “Add”

   Add https://mpuc-cms.maine.gov/ in Trusted Sites Zone (2.1)

      Internet Explorer  Tools  Internet Options  Security  Trusted Sites  Click “Sites”  Add https://mpuc-cms.maine.gov to the Zone

   Change Trusted Site Custom Level (3.1) to Enable “Automatic Prompting for file download” and to Enable “File Download”

      Internet Explorer  Tools  Internet Options  Security  Trusted Sites  Click “Custom Level”  Enable “Automatic Prompting for file download” and Enable “File Download”

   If Google toolbar or any other toolbar is installed, then disable the pop-up blocker for mpuc-cms.maine.gov (4.1) OR disable the toolbar (4.2)

      Internet Explorer  Go to https://mpuc-cms.maine.gov/CQM.Public.WebUI/ExternalHome.aspx  click popup blocker icon and click “Always allow popup from mpuc-cms.maine.gov.

   Internet Explorer  Click on “X” icon in google toolbar  Disable the Google Toolbar
   

Safari Settings  Preferences  Security  uncheck the “Block Pop-up Windows” option
