    • arvuti "aju"

    • loogikaskeem, mis interpreteerib ja täidab masinkoodis antud käske

    • koosneb vähemalt käsuseadmest ja aritmeetika-loogikaseadmest

    • töökiirus (MHz)- näitab, mitu elementaartehet suudab protsessor sooritada ühes sekundis.

    seade, mille abil peab arvuti meeles operatiivset informatsiooni:

    Ajutine andmete hoidmise koht - kui arvuti välja lülitada, siis läheb kogu operatiivmälus olnud info kaotsi.


    Random Access Memory (RAM )

    (RAM) is a device by which the computer must remember operative information:

    • currently running programs

    • programs used by the data

    Temporary storage location of the data - if the computer will be switched off, all the RAM data will be lost.
