    Special importance is attached to the professional competence of the young generation growing up today in order to become who they are in the future and become a specialist in their profession. Professional competence is the acquisition of knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for professional activity by a specialist and the ability to apply them at a high level in practice. Professional competence does not mean the acquisition of separate knowledge and skills by a specialist, but the acquisition of integrative knowledge and actions in each independent direction.

    Professional competence is evident in the following cases:

    • in complex processes;

    • performing unclear tasks;

    • using conflicting information;

    • being able to have an action plan in an unexpected situation;

    Specialist with professional competence:

    • consistently enriches his knowledge;

    • learns new information;

    • deeply understands the requirements of the era;

    • seeks new knowledge;

    • process them and use them effectively in their practical activities.[1]

    The concept of "competence" has been given a number of definitions by scientists, experts and researchers. Summarizing them, competence can be defined as a set of integrated qualities based on knowledge, experience and skills manifested in general ability and professional preparation for successful operation. In our opinion, the concepts of competence and competence are interrelated, embodying the concepts of knowledge, skills and abilities, a person's goal-orientedness, the ability to deeply feel problems, show thoroughness, have creative thinking. includes such adjectives as lishi[2]. Analyzing scientific works on the approach from the point of view of competence, we clearly notice that different opinions are expressed about the concepts of "competence" and "competence". According to A.G. Bermus, "Competence unites all the qualities, knowledge, experience, and, in general, the whole being of an improving person into a single system."[3] "Competence is not only that a person is knowledgeable, but also that he continuously updates his knowledge," says M. A. Choshanov. According to M. Aronov, competence means that a specialist is ready for a certain activity. The ability to act in uncertain situations is competence, says O. Ye. Lebedev. [4] Competence is based on a person's intellectual personal, social professional life activity, writes I.A.Zimnyaya.[5] A.V. Khutorsky believes that the concepts of "competence" and "competence" can be distinguished as follows. Competence is a combination of personal qualities of a person (knowledge, skills, experience, methods of activity) and is a qualitative and effective activity of a person in relation to things and processes in a certain area. Competence means that a person has a set of competencies that express his personal attitude to the types of activities and meet the requirements.[6]
    L.M. Mitina pedagogical competence means knowledge about the subject, teaching methodology and didactics, pedagogical communication skills and competence, as well as methods and means of self-development, self-improvement, self-realization understood the harmonious union.[7]
    He distinguished the following three constituents in the structure of pedagogical competence: active, communicative and personal. Based on the structuring of pedagogical competence proposed by L. M. Mitina, we believe that the following set of competencies is sufficient and necessary, the level of acquisition of which determines the level of development of pedagogical competence for future specialists:
    - functional or special competence (knowledge, skills, qualifications and individual methods of pedagogical activity);
    - personal or professional competence (knowledge, skills and abilities related to professional self-improvement and self-realization);
    - communicative competence (knowledge, skills and competence related to the creative implementation of pedagogical activities).
    Concepts of professionalism and competence have common features. It should be noted that people who fully meet the requirements and standards are not always true professionals, the reason is that some have knowledge, but do not know how to apply their knowledge in practice, so such pedagogical activity remains ineffective.
    In order to form professional competence in future specialists, first of all, attention should be paid to the development of the characteristic of observation, that is, to the development of perceptive, cognitive, reflexive, empathic, motivational and prognostic aspects. In order to acquire social-perceptive competence in the process of pedagogical activity and communication, the specialist must have humaneness, social-reflexive, knowledge and skills, a positive professional "I" image, some personal qualities (intellect, will, it is desirable to engage in activities related to the formation of empathy, observation, kindness, emotional tolerance, etc. [8]
    Working on oneself and self-development are important in acquiring professional and pedagogical competence. Self-development tasks are determined through self-analysis and self-assessment. Self-care can be seen in:
    - improving professional BKM;
    - critical and creative approach to activity;
    - achieving professional and creative cooperation;
    - development of work ability;
    - eliminating negative habits;[9]
    Pedagogues-teachers can achieve professional competence at the following stages:

    • in-depth study of pedagogy and psychology;

    • in-depth knowledge of special subjects and their teaching methods;

    • interest in one's profession, effective use of pedagogical and information communication technologies;

    • to always analyze one's own work and be critical towards it;

    • work independently on oneself, regularly improve one's personal skills;

    • self-demanding, deep sense of responsibility;

    • to properly organize the pedagogical process, to increase the activity of the student team, to unite the team, to establish interpersonal relationships among young athletes;

    • encouraging students in difficult and problematic situations;

    • being able to ensure proper feedback between pedagogues-teachers and students;

    • knowing productive, interactive and innovative methods and methods of education, being able to use them in the training process.[10]

    In the process of professional activity, it is possible to influence the life of a person and his social development to a certain extent by developing the pedagogical competence of modern teachers. The main idea of the development of the educational system in modern society is the intellectual and moral-spiritual development of a person on the basis of purposeful independent activity in various fields.
    In the process of educational work, it is important for students to teach young people to think creatively, to change situations, to organize activities based on free competition, and to use information technologies, electronic textbooks, versions and multimedia in practical training. We can see that this requires students to develop their independence, free thinking, analyze their educational activities, and make it their internal need to clearly define their plans for professional skills and computer literacy in the future.
    In conclusion, it can be said that a well-rounded person who is fully mature, intellectually developed, brought up with social qualities, loyal to national and spiritual values, thinks in a new way, has his own personal and civil position, embodies all the qualities of the national ideology. Training of future teachers, who will educate them, prepare them for independent life, have deep knowledge, qualifications and skills in their specialty, and have professional competence, is an urgent part of today's pedagogical process. is one of the tasks.
