Did You Move the User or Computer Object?
Client computers cache the directory service location for 30 minutes. When user or computer objects are moved from one organizational unit to another, the client may not “know” right away.
If policy refreshes before the client’s cached directory service location is refreshed, the new policies will not be applied.
Note: If you move a computer to a new container or put it in a new group, you should reboot the computer to make sure the change takes effect immediately.
