MK 1100 Windows CE SDK
The MK1100 Windows CE SDK The MK1100 Windows CE SDK provides the necessary components to generate applications for MK 1100 terminals using embedded Visual C++ 4.0 Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 3 (eVC 4.0 SP1 or SP3).
IMPORTANT: Before installing the MK 1100 SDK, you must remove any previously installed versions of the MK 1100 SDK. Use "Add/Remove Programs" in the Windows Control Panel to uninstall the old SDK.
IMPORTANT: This SDK is designed to work with Microsoft eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0 Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 3.

Installing the SDK on a machine that also has Microsoft eMbedded Visual Tools 3.0 installed is not recommended. Doing so may produce undesirable side effects.

You must have Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 3 of eVC installed in order to use this SDK. The installation will not check for the presence of either of these service packs.

Interoperation with Service Pack 2 of eVC 4.0 is possible, but introduces some problems. Symbol Technologies recommends that you NOT install Service Pack 2 for eVC 4.0 on the same machine as the MK 1100 Windows CE SDK: use Service Pack 3 instead.
Note: Unlike the Pocket PC SDKs from Symbol Technologies, the MK 1100 SDK includes a Windows CE Platform SDK built specifically for the MK 1100 device. This adds considerable size to the SDK Installation file.
