Telegram Service Indicators for the Telegram Retransmission System (TRS)

The Administration of Estonia (Estonian Telephone Co., Tallinn – EESTI TELEFON) announces that the destination indicator for the telegram retransmission system (TRS) allocated to Estonia “EE- -” (first 2 letters) has been in service since 1 May 1995, and should be used for routing telegrams to Estonia (with the four-letter destination indicators “EETL” for TALLINN and “EEXX” for all other destinations in Estonia, which are at the present time in use).
The old destination indicator “SUTL”, formerly assigned to the TALLINN office, is no longer valid and should be deleted from the TRS List (6th Edition – October 1991).

Telegrams to the
former geographical areas of Bophuthatswana, Ciskei, Transkei and Venda
1. Telkom SA Limited, Pretoria, South Africa (Republic of), announces that, as of 1 September 1995, the destination indicators used in the telegram retransmission system (TRS) for routing telegrams to the former geographical areas of Bophuthatswana (BP- -), Ciskei (CX- -), Transkei (TT- -) and Venda (VM- -) no longer apply for this service.
The destination indicator “SA- -” (first two letters), together with “SAJX” for All destinations (Toutes destinations), should now be used for routing telegrams to these former geographical areas.
2. As a consequence of this change, the following destination indicators:
BP- - and BPMX (Toutes destinations/All destinations),
CX- - and CXBX (Toutes destinations/All destinations),
TT- - and TTUA (UMTATA), TTUX (Tous autres/All others),
VM- - and VMSX (Toutes destinations/All destinations)
should be deleted from the TRS List (6th Edition - October 1991), with effect from 1 September 1995.
