b. Additional Rights and Limitations.
Your Application. Provided you comply with the terms of this Section 1(b), Microsoft grants you the non-exclusive and limited right to use and modify the source code version of those portions of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT that are identified as “Sample Code” in the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and/or “Redistributable Binary Files,” or “Modifiable Code” in the attached Exhibit A, including the Microsoft Active Template Library (“ATL”) and Microsoft Foundation Classes runtime (“MFC”), and to develop and test your application (“Application”) for use solely with Microsoft Windows for Pocket PC Software. The “Sample Code,” “Redistributable Binary Files” and “Modifiable Code” shall collectively be referred to herein as “Sample Code.”
ATL/MFC Files. You may redistribute the unmodified file object code version of the ATL and MFC files identified as atlce300.dll, atlce400.dll and mfcce300.dll in object code solely under their original filenames and solely as part of your Application. In the event you modify atlce300.dll, atlce400.dll or mfcce300.dll source code you may redistribute the resulting object code file solely as part of your Application provided that you: (1) rename the file(s); and (2) include a statement in documentation accompanying your Application that states "These files have been modified. The modified ATL/MFC files are not provided by Microsoft. Support for these modified ATL/MFC files is not provided by Microsoft." A copy of this no support by Microsoft statement must be included in the same directory in which you locate the modified MFC files.
