The Plan Investigates Articles And Scientific Opinions To Address This Issue And Find Innovative Solutions.
Kurt and Desi Andriani conducted research on improving students' speaking skills using communicative games. Kurt's study found that using games improved students' confidence, participation, enthusiasm, and fluency. Desi Andriani and Hermawati Syarif's study found that debate games increased communication and cooperation among seventh-grade students, fostering socialization in teaching and learning. Both studies suggest that communicative games are effective in fostering cooperative activities and fostering positive relationships. Littlewood (1981) categorizes communicative activities into social contact and functional communication. A study using a pre-experimental design found that using communicative games improved students' English-speaking abilities. The results showed that these games increased motivation, interest, and confidence, making them a useful teaching tool for English teachers.
