# From the Security Tab, select Trusted Sites and click on Sites.
# Add the name of the STARS Enterprise Server as a Trusted Site (see following examples) ensuring that the 'Require Server Verification (https) for all sites in this zone' option is NOT selected. Click the "Close" button once complete.

Please note, you must apply the Custom Level Setting changes to BOTHtheInternetzoneandTrusted Siteszone. These Custom Level Setting changes as outlined below MUST be applied to bothzones regardless of IE version. These settings are required for both zones across all IE versions.
# Ensure that the custom setting is set to Medium (default) as shown below. If not, then select Medium (default) and click Reset.
# Next, scroll down to the ActiveX Controls and Plugins section. Enable the following settings: Allow previously unused ActiveX controls to run without prompt and Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls.
Choose Internet Options from the Tools menu in Internet Explorer (IE).
Click on the Advanced tab, scroll down to the HTTP 1.1 settings section and ensure that Use HTTP 1.1 box is checked. (Check the box if it is not already checked, then click the 'Apply' button and then select 'OK' to save the changes.)
