Methodology

Building upon this research, a comprehensive questionnaire was administered to investigate the legal ramifications of plagiarism. The study elucidates the perspectives and understanding of academicians and students through voluntary participation in in-depth questionnaires , involving selected individuals from universities in Kokand. The findings are substantiated by data obtained from additional sources, including magazines, publications, and websites. The pilot test is also conducted in helping the design of the questionnaires to create good questions (Olesen et al., 2017).


Likewise, the study participants comprised both academics and students. Surveys were voluntarily administered to academics and students, aiming to enhance their comprehension of academic plagiarism and to gain better insights into academic regulations.
In addition to employing keywords such as scientific research and academic plagiarism, investigations into research plagiarism misconduct and the legal framework were conducted. This method seeks to derive general conclusions from a specific example.
The primary purpose of the questionnaire is to elicit insights into the students' and academics' perceptions of plagiarism in their academic lives, emphasizing the significance of plagiarism and its legal consequences. The questionnaire is divided into two parts. The first section includes brief questions about participants' understanding of plagiarism and their attitudes toward it. The second part primarily focuses on capturing their thoughts, opinions, and providing advice on the matter.
Since it is a flexible session with the respondents, the researcher has prepared several sets of questions that may be changed according to their responses. (Majid et al., 2017).
Upon examining the research findings and primary data collected, a comprehensive analysis will be conducted to organize and interpret all the information gathered during the questionnaire sessions. The research underscores that the origin and responses of individuals participating in the questionnaire may exhibit variations. This is done to determine the general pattern of the highlighted issues by the respondents (Olesen et al., 2017) and to compare while also defining the significant findings to test their reliability .
Result
A comprehensive questionnaire was administered to investigate the legal ramifications of plagiarism, elucidating the perspectives of both academicians and students from universities in Kokand. The study aimed to enhance comprehension of academic plagiarism and gain insights into academic regulations.

Participants


The participants included both academics and students from various disciplines. A total of 150 individuals voluntarily participated in the study, comprising 75 academics and 75 students.

**Understanding of Plagiarism**

Table 1 summarizes the participants' understanding of plagiarism and their attitudes toward it.


Opinions and Advice

Table 2 presents the participants' opinions and advice regarding plagiarism.



Analysis
A comprehensive analysis was conducted to organize and interpret all the information gathered during the questionnaire sessions. The responses varied among participants, indicating diverse perspectives on plagiarism. The study aimed to derive general conclusions from specific examples and compare significant findings to test their reliability.
The results of the questionnaire highlight the importance of addressing plagiarism in academic settings and the need for robust educational initiatives on academic integrity. The findings underscore variations in understanding and perceptions of plagiarism among academics and students. Efforts to prevent plagiarism and improve academic regulations should consider the insights provided by the participants.
