    2. Principles of Air Filtration and Dust Collection
Modern dust collection and air filtration technologies are based on several key principles:
    - Mechanical Filtration This involves capturing dust particles using filters made of fibrous or
porous materials. The efficiency of mechanical filtration depends on the filter's pore size and the
    particles' size and shape.
    - Electrostatic Precipitation Electrostatic precipitators use electrically charged plates or wires
to ionize dust particles, which are then attracted to oppositely charged collector plates. This method
is effective for removing fine particles from industrial emissions.
    - Wet Scrubbing Wet scrubbers use a liquid, often water, to capture and remove dust
particles from gaseous emissions. The interaction between the liquid droplets and dust particles
leads to the formation of a slurry, which is then collected and treated.
    3. Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials
Nanotechnology introduces novel materials and coatings that can enhance filtration
efficiency. Nanofibers, for instance, provide a larger surface area for capturing dust particles, while
nanocoatings can offer self-cleaning or antimicrobial properties.
    4. IoT and Smart Monitoring Systems
The Internet of Things (IoT) and smart monitoring systems enable real-time tracking of air
quality and dust levels. Sensors collect data on particle concentration, which can be used to optimize
the operation of dust collection systems and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Understanding these theoretical aspects provides a solid foundation for evaluating the use of
modern technologies in cleaning the air of industrial zones from dust. It allows for a critical analysis
of their effectiveness, sustainability, and overall impact on environmental and public health.
    Methods
In addressing the issue of dust pollution in industrial zones, several modern technological
methods have been developed and implemented. These methods vary in their mechanisms
applications, and efficiencies, but all aim towards the common goal of reducing air pollution. Here
is a closer look at some of these methods:
