Introduction. In industrial zones, air quality is a paramount concern due to the high levels of
pollutants, particularly dust, emitted by various industrial processes. Prolonged exposure to
industrial dust not only poses significant health risks to workers and nearby communities but also
contributes to broader environmental issues. Consequently, cleaning the air in these areas is not
just a regulatory requirement, but a moral and ecological imperative. Modern technologies have
emerged as crucial allies in this endeavor, offering innovative and effective solutions to mitigate
    dust pollution.
This paper explores the use of modern technologies in cleaning the air of industrial zones from
dust. It discusses various advanced methods and systems, including electrostatic precipitators,
fabric filters, wet scrubbers, and emerging nanotechnology-based solutions. The aim is to provide
insights into how these technologies work, their effectiveness, and their role in creating safer,
    cleaner industrial environments.
Theoretical Background. The theoretical foundation of modern technologies used in cleaning
the air of industrial zones from dust is anchored in a variety of scientific principles and technological
innovations. Understanding these underlying concepts is crucial in comprehending how these
technologies operate and their effectiveness in mitigating dust pollution.

Dust in industrial zones originates from various sources, including manufacturing processes,
construction activities, and vehicular movement. The dispersion of dust particles in the air is
influenced by factors such as particle size, wind speed, and atmospheric conditions. The health and
environmental impact of dust depends largely on its composition and particle size, with smaller
particles posing greater risks due to their ability to penetrate deeper into the respiratory system.
