    QUADSTELLAR WIFI CONNECTION GUIDELINES


    1. What kind of WIFI environment is available?

    QUADSTELLAR supports WiFi network of 802.11b/g/n 2.4GHz, instead of 5GHz.

    (P.S. QUADSTELLAR does not support the public WiFi network, especially the airport / hotel WiFi which request users to log into via the authentication pages.)


    1. How to download the APP? (3 methods are available)

    A, Please download it from Apple Store or Google Play by searching “QUADSTELLAR”

    B, Please download it by scanning the QR printed on the manual packed with the box, or the QR printed on the back of HDD Cage

    C, Please download it by scanning the QR at the lower left corner of QUADSTELLAR’s page on DEEPCOOL website



    1. How to active the APP?

    A, Press the “scan” at the upper right corner in the APP

    B, Input the correct account and password to log into your WiFi network

    C, Press “connect”

    D, Once Internet connection is successfully shared, there is text showing “** device connected”, and the light blinks in blue.


    1. How to detect the problem when you fail to active the APP?

    A: Please make sure your WiFi router is working well, and is 2.4GHz instead of 5GHz.

    B: Please make sure your cell phone connects to the WiFi network successfully

    C: Reset the PCB built in the case. Press the “reset” button on the PCB built in the case for at least 6 seconds until you see the lights on QUADSTELLAR start to run in 7 colors.

    P.S. if your WiFi network has a wordy name, please try to simplify it, and then go to the previous steps to active the APP.


    1. How to switch to a new device?

    When you are going to use a new mobile device to control the QUADSTELLAR, please make sure you “log out” in the APP from your former mobile device, (please select “Resume to default set” in the tag of “setup” to log out the APP) and then reset the PCB by pressing the “rest button” on the PCB built in the case for at least 6 seconds until you see the lights on QUARDSTELLAR start to run in 7 colors.


    P.S. If you still failed to connect to QUADSTELLAR under the current WiFi network, please help to test it by sharing your “personal hotspot” to create a new WiFi network: use one of your mobile device to share "Personal hotspot" for both your second mobile device (which you apply the APP) and QUADSTELLAR, and then press the "reset" button for 6 seconds to reset the system, and then follow the previous steps to active the APP matching to the QUADSTELLAR. If it was a failure again, we assume that there is a malfunction in the device, and please contact our technical support, thanks!
