I. Fanning mazmuni
Fanni o‘qitishdan maqsad – talabalarga adabiyot nazariyasi bo‘yicha ma’lumot berish, adabiy tur va janrlar, badiiy asarning shakli va mazmuni, poetik nutq, uslub, badiiy asar mohiyati hamda ijod psixologiyasi va shu kabi nazariy qonuniyatlarni badiiy asarlarga tadbiq etgan holda o‘rgatish.
Fanning vazifasi – talabalarni nazariy bilimlar, amaliy ko‘nikmalalar, zamonaviy komparativ usul va uslublardan foydalanishni, o‘rganilayotgan adabiyotning milliy va madaniy xususiyatlarini farqlashni, milliy adabiyotning jahon adabiyoti bilan o‘zaro bog‘liq jihatlarini va umumjahon adabiy-tarixiy muammolarini nazariy tadqiq etishga o‘rgatish.
