Installing the NEC-Mon.inf file to Windows 95

Right mouse click on the desktop and select "Properties"

In the Display Properties box, click on the Settings Tab

Depending upon which version of Windows 95 you have, you will click on the "Change Display Type" or "Advanced Properties" button

If you have the "Advanced Properties" version click on the Monitor tab, then Change button. If you have the "Change Display Type" version, click Monitor Type Change button.

Select the "Show all devices" radio icon in the Select device dialog box. Under Manufacturers: scroll down and select NEC Technologies.

Select NEC Technologies Inc.; from the manufactures list , then click the "Have Disk" Button

In the command line , identify where the NECMon.inf file is located and click the "OK" Button.

This will now update the NEC MultiSync/AccuSync list which includes your new monitor type.

Under Manufacturers: scroll down and select NEC Technologies. In the Models section scroll through the list of NEC monitors and select your MultiSync/AccuSync monitor.

Click OK.
