mistakes. Personally, in our country, several measures are being implemented to
improve and develop this industry. For example, the fact that 2020 was called the
"Year of Development of Science and Digital Economy" at the suggestion of the
leaders of our country is a proof of the ideas we put forward above.
That a number of criminal situations, especially cyber crimes and hacker
attacks, can be prevented by ensuring economic security in the countries and by
digitizing it . In short, digitalization of the economy means increasing the maximum
efficiency and minimizing costs and achieving maximum profit.
Threats to economic security can occur as a result of intentional actions of
subjects or force majeure, i.e. natural disasters. In the process of studying the sources
of threats to economic security, scientists are divided into external and internal.
A threat to economic security is understood as "the state of the economy in
which the state has lost control over production and circulation under the influence
of internal and external factors, leaving them with the main levers of economic and
legal influence."
The list of economic security indicators and its threshold values should be
determined at the fundamental level. These are, first of all, the national interests of
the country in the field of improving the economy and the social condition of the
population.
For the purpose of scientific and methodical provision, first of all, economic
security indicators should be compiled in the following ways:
- the ability of the economy to work in the mode of extended reproduction;
- ensuring state control over strategic resources;
- to eliminate the dependence of the economy on the import of the most
important types of products; - maintaining the living conditions of the population
above the level of poverty;
- stability of the financial system, adequate development of the national
currency, financial and securities market, reduction and effective management of
external and internal debts, provision of conditions for investment activities;
- maintenance of a single economic space and interregional economic relations;
- ensuring necessary state regulation of economic processes.
Threshold values should receive the status of quantitative parameters approved
at the state level.
Analyzing the global practice of ensuring economic security, we believe that it
is necessary to develop and approve a long-term concept of ensuring the economic
security of regions and economic entities of each country, involving the scientists of
our country at the state level.
