Note: The installer must be logged into the PC with administrator rights on the PC in order to execute this Patch. If you do not have administrator rights, contact your local PC support technician. The patch will need to be installed on every PC used to send PEIMS collection files or PET files to TEA.
Go to Start/All Programs/Accessories.
Right click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
Note: XP does not have a Run as Administrator option. For XP, select “Run as”, then select a logon account that has administrator privileges.
(Start is the little Microsoft Icon circle at the very bottom left corner of your screen.)
On the command line prompt, type CD C:\ and the directory into which you downloaded the patch, then click enter. In this example, I entered;
CD C:\Users\gshelton\Downloads\EditPlusSecurity20_Admins
Type in the name of the patch to install “configureeditpluspermissions” (no quotes) and click enter.
