Therefore, writing teachers need to incorporate the insights of the three
approaches, product, process, and genre into the writing class for teaching
students. The strengths of each approach can complement each other and help
teachers to develop learners’ writing competence by providing appropriate input of
knowledge and skills in the writing procedure. Learning foreign language is surely
different from learning one’s mother tongue. People who learns foreign language
will make mistakes in using foreign language acquisition. Language is a natural
phenomenon that occurs in bilingual or multilingual countries. The greater the
differences between the two languages, the more negative the effects of
teaching are expected to be. Grammar is a very common and normal issue
which can be overcome after the careful observation and patient practice. In
English, verb does not need the inflectional morphology to make the sentence
clear. The same time, we consider that language interference is the effect of
language learner’s first language on his/her production of the language he/she
is learning. It means that the speaker’s first language influences his/her
second or foreign language. Observations and clear understanding of the
problem enables us to speak about the differences between acquisition and
learning and makes it possible to investigate their interrelationship as well as the
implications for the teaching of languages. We believe that language is
definitely caused by several reasons:
- Students’ knowledge Gaps concerning L2 (target language;
English) grammar and lexicon structures.
-Deficiencies in the teaching program.
Teachers who participated on the research showed a lot of interest in its
development. We have to remark that our knowledge about teaching language
and its importance has increased and reached to a point where it represents
a serious issue in the communication process. We have learned that
interference could be a serious obstacle not only in the process of expressing
ideas in a second language but also in the social development of an individual.
First language interference was not an obstacle for all English students to always
learn and practice their English to become a good English speaker that
could make student’s English speaking performance close to native speaker
performance. Based on the findings and discussions in the previous chapters, it
can be concluded that:
Language occurs at linguistic aspects, such as: phonological, grammatical,
and lexical process.
There are the deviations which mostly occur in bilingual speaker. As a
