SYSTEM OF CONTROL AND CALCULATION OF ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION IN INDUSTRY

Abstract. The energy consumption management and control system created for industrial
enterprises and electricity users in general is described in the article. The structural components
and their roles in the accounting system are made clear. Additionally included are the techniques
for information transfer in the automated system for calculating electricity use.

Introduction. One of the unique characteristics of electricity is that it cannot be stored in
sufficient quantities for a certain period of time on a large scale. Therefore, the time between the
generation and consumption of electricity is important. Due to the almost instantaneous
transmission from the producer to the consumers through the public networks, it is impossible to
trace which producer and which consumer received the electricity. Only the total volume of
electricity generation and transfer to the power grid by the producer, as well as the total volume of
electricity received by the consumer from this network can be calculated.
There are obligations between electricity producers and consumers to determine the amount
of energy resources to be supplied and consumed, but both are subject to data deviations. In
connection with the above characteristics, instability may occur in the market of energy resources,
and this leads to the demand for maximum speedy and accurate calculations. [1]. As can be seen
from the above, the creation of systems for automatic accounting of electricity production and
consumption is a challenging issue.
Research. Automated accounting of electricity consumption and the most efficient allocation
of energy resources, as well as the installation of automatic analysis of electricity consumption,
allow the introduction of specialized, multifunctional automated electricity control and accounting
system. (((AECAS)) (complex accounting system of electricity consumption)) [2]. This system
operates in online mode and transfers the electricity consumption to the higher level control
system.
The AECAS system includes specialized technical devices, as well as software tools for
analyzing the cost (or production) of energy resources depending on the user's needs.
