Project management is an important part of an organization's operations because it is a
key element for more efficient and effective operations. A key challenge to successful
project management implementation is ensuring that stakeholders have access to project
data from anywhere in the world. This is especially important for global projects, where
stakeholders are located in different countries and have different preferences for tools.
Corporate project management systems provide a number of benefits, including increased
efficiency, improved coordination and collaboration, risk management, and improved
communication.
A cost-benefit analysis of project management provides an overview of the return on
investment. While the benefits of project management are clear, incorporating support
systems into software development practices often does not provide the necessary level of
quality. To make project managers' activities more convenient and efficient, new
approaches to management support are needed. One of the important research tasks of this
problem is to develop a graphical interface of information management tools at all stages of
the project. In order to solve it the software system discussed in this paper is built, the goal
of which is to define the requirements for graphical representation of project monitoring
and management tools.
The basis for solving the interface of the developed toolkit is the use of Ganter's diagram
language [1], which has proved itself in visualizing the elements of software projects' life
cycles. Descriptions of actions planned and executed during the life cycle are recorded in a
specialized toolkit's database. It is planned that if any changes are made in the project, the
program will be able to suggest the optimal solution for project development.
