At the end of ХХ century Famous German psychiatrist and
psychologist Ernst Krechmer leaded the idea of “In spite of medical
psychology is near to psychiatry, it is necessary to see it as an
independent subject and works out teaching methodology”.
The scientist edited “Medical psychology” as abook in 1922 and at the
same year in the all medical institutions of Europe began to teach as a
special subject.
The prepared specialist began to treat patients in the different
clinics similarly with psychiatrists and neurologists. Lately not
only psychogenetic but also psychosomatic disorders correction
had become as the main tasks of medical psychologists.
Today
the main treatment establishments for medical psychologists are
psychosomatic medical centers and clinics. They practice and work
in somatic clinics showing medicalpsychological help to different
patients. There are a lot of emergency medical centers with
“emergency medical psychological help” system. This manual’s 3rd
edition consists of 14 chapters and prepared according to modern
requirements. Manual is enriched with last scientific research
achievements.
This manual has been worked out the methodology according to
an experience of Uzbekistan and emphasized patients psychology
and medical psychological to help strategies in different diseases.
In spite of students choice of medical field, they must know making
conversation with different patients and
collecting psychological
anamnesis rules. The manual reflects in this text especially. There
are special chapters dedicated to the basis of psychosomatic
medicine.
