Creating Operators

1. 
   Click on Start > Programs > Gentran Server > Gentran Server Configuration.
   
2. 
   Click on the Audit/Notification tab.
   

3. 
   Click on the Operators button.
   

4. 
   Select File.
   
5. 
   Select New.
   

6. 
   Type in a Gentran User account into NT User ID. Type in a descriptive name for this user in Name. Type in their email address under email.
   
7. 
   Choose the Test… button next to email.
   

8. 
   The following message should appear. And the email message is received by the email address. If this does not appear or error occurs, then refer to the Troubleshooting section at the end of this document.
   

9. 
   Select OK and OK.
   
10. 
    Repeat for each user account.
    
11. 
    Proceed to Creating Notifications.
