Gentran: Server for Windows

SMTP Implementation

1. 
   Click on Start > Programs > Gentran Server > Gentran Server Configuration.
   
2. 
   Click on the Audit/Notification tab.
   

3. 
   Click on the Server button.
   

4. 
   Click on the Notifications tab.
   

5. 
   Uncheck Use MAPI and fill in information.
   
   1. 
      Full Name is the Name to describe this email address.
      
   2. 
      Type in the email address.
      
   3. 
      Type in the SMTP Server and Port to use with the email address provided.
      
   4. 
      If the Email Server requires authentication then select My server requires Authentication and type the user name and password needed.
      
   5. 
      Type in a full path and a file name for the Log File.
      

6. 
   Click Apply then OK.
   
7. 
   Stop and Start all Gentran Services.
   
8. 
   Proceed to Testing.
