Many rules created by the Rules Wizard are used to automatically process newly received messages or other items as they arrive in the Inbox or are sent from the Outbox. With the new Run Rules Now feature available in the Outlook 2000, Rules Wizard users can manually apply any rule to any folder whenever they choose, giving them a powerful tool for cleaning up or organizing e-mail messages, appointments, contacts or tasks that already exist in various folders.
If a message is part of a mail thread (has been replied to or is a reply to another message), the user can click on the InfoBar (the gray banner at the top of the message form shown in the following figure) to automatically find all the messages in the same conversation thread as the current message.
InfoBar can be clicked to display all messages in a thread.
