Introduction.
Today, developed countries have accumulated a lot of experience in using
pedagogical technologies that increase the educational and creative activities of students
and guarantee the effectiveness of the educational process, and interactive methods form
the basis of this experience. Interactive methods are methods that ensure that learners
work together and in cooperation to acquire knowledge, skills, competences and moral
qualities.
The use of interactive methods in the educational process ensures thorough learning of
educational materials by students. Today, about 700 interactive methods are used in
educational practice. In addition, the rapid development of the science, technology and
production sectors requires the employees of the educational system to raise the quality of
education to a new level in terms of content, and imposes higher responsibilities and tasks
on each employee of the system, especially teachers. Teaching using modern computer
technologies is becoming the new standard of education. Methodical provision of
developments in the creation of multimedia textbooks is of great importance. Multimedia
textbooks are aimed at automating all stages of teaching, that is, from the explanation of
the educational material to the control of this knowledge and the final assessment. All basic
educational material is presented in the form of a bright, interesting, meaningful game,
graphics, animation, as well as interactive, audio, and video clips. The electronic textbook is
not only a complex, but also a comprehensive didactic, methodical and interactive program
system, which provides information on the methods of scientific research with the help of
various forms of information delivery of complex areas of educational material, as well as
their simulation in multimedia tools. In this case, the possibility of mastering the
educational material due to clear, bright and visual delivery increases. The teaching
process is more successful because it allows direct observation of objects and phenomena.
Didactic aspects of the general principles of teaching and methodological aspects of
teaching specific subjects or groups of subjects are interconnected and inextricably linked
with issues of electronic textbook software. A computer-based textbook summarizes the
features of a typical textbook, reference book, problem set, and hands-on experience.
Electronic textbooks have all the main functions, i.e. delivery of theoretical materials,
organization of application of previously acquired knowledge (performance of exercise
tasks), control of the level of mastery (feedback) and tasks aimed at independent learning.
The educational process takes place at a higher level in a new way, because the electronic
textbook works at a pace convenient for the learner, repeats and receives a flow of teacher,
in this case, computer, that is, adapted visual and auditory images, giving him not only
information, but also emotional impact. "I forget what I hear, I remember what I see, I
understand if I do it independently" - this wise saying of the great philosopher Confucius is
proof of our above thoughts. According to the theory of multisensory education, it is

520
necessary to make maximum use of the method convenient for the concrete student.
Holistic delivery of information using visual aids is one of the most intensive forms of
teaching. Individual dialogic communication with the help of videographic, textual and
musical-speech material is so intense that it makes the teaching process as easy as possible,
expands the possibility of the information effect on the hypertext user and directly involves
the learner in the learning process: a good and deep understanding of the learned material,
interest the learner in mastering his new knowledge, teaching time much shorter, long-
term memory of the material, etc. Classes using modern technologies are aimed at making
students search for the acquired knowledge, independently study and analyze it, and even
draw their own conclusions.
