    SILABUS

    S1 Pendidikan Kimia

    Matakuliah Fisika untuk Kimia

    Kompetensi/Competencies

    Memahami prinsip-prinsip dasar ilmu fisika yang digunakan dalam ilmu kimia dan menerapkannya untuk menganalisis dan menyelesaikan persoalan-persoalan dalam perkuliahan kimia/ Understanding of basic principles of physics that required for the full range of to­pics that make up a university degree course in chemistry.



    Bahan Kajian/Subject Matters

    (1) Mekanika: kinematika, dinamika, kerja, energi dan daya, hukum kekekalam dalam mekanika; (2) osilasi dan gelombang: kinematika osilasi harmonis, pen­jum­la­han osilasi, dinamika osilasi harmonis, energi osilasi harmonis, osilasi terendam, osi­lasi paksaan, gelombang, penjumlahan gelombang; (3) fisika mole­ku­ler: teori ki­netik gas ideal, distribusi molekul gas ideal (Boltzmann dan Maxwell), hukum per­ta­ma dan kedua termodinamika, gas nyata, dasar kinetika fisika; (4) sifat-sifat di­elek­trik suatu bahan (5) magnet: karakteristik medan magnet, sifat magnet zat kimia, per­samaan Maxwell; (6) optika gelombang: interferensi, difraksi, polarisasi, disper­si cahaya, gejala optika kuantum, model Bohr atom hidrogen; (7) Dasar-dasar fisika re­so­nansi: karaktersitik inti, interaksi elektron intraatom dan interaksi antar inti, spektroskopi resonansi (Mossbauer), resonansi magnet inti, resonansi para­mag­netic elektron (EPR); (8) fisika zat padat: elektron dalam kristal, dinamika kisi dan ka­pasitas panas kristal, fenomena transport dalam cairan dan padatan, sifat elektrik suatu bahan/(1) Mechanics: Kinematics, Dynamics, Work, Energy and Power, Conservation Laws in Mechanics;  (2) Oscillations and Waves: Kinematics of Harmonic Oscillations, Summation of Oscillations, Dynamics of the Harmonic Oscillation, Energy of Harmonic Oscillations, Damped Oscillations, Forced Oscillations, Waves, Summation of Waves; (3) Molecular Physics: Kinetic Theory of Ideal Gases, Distribution of Mo­lecules of an Ideal Gas in a Force Field (Boltzmann Distribution), Distribution of the Kinetic Parameters of an Ideal Gas Particles (Maxwell Distribution), First and Second Law of Thermodynamics, van der Waals Equation, Elements of Physical Kinetic; (4) Dielectric Properties of Substances: Electrostatic Field, Dielectric Pro­per­ties of Substances; (5) Magnetics: General Characteristics of the Magnetic Field, Mag­ne­tic Properties of Chemical Substances, Magnetically Ordered State, Displacement Current: Maxwell’s Equations; (6) Wave Optics and Quantum–Optical Phenomena: Physics of Electromagnetic Optical Waves, An Interference, Diffraction, Polarization, Dispersion of Light, The Quantum-Optical Phenomena, The Bohr Model of a Hydrogen Atom; (7) Physical Principles of Resonance Methods in Chemistry:, Selected Atomic Nuclei Characteristics, Electron–Nuclear Interactions, Resonance (Mössbauer) Spectroscopy, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Abilities of Nuclear Quadrupole Resonance, Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR); (8) Solid State Physics: Crystal Structure, Crystal Lattice, Electrons in Crystals, Lattice Dynamics and Heat Capacity of Crystals, Crystal Defects, Transport Phenomena in Liquids and Solids, Some Techni­cally Important Electric Properties of Substances.



    Tujuan/Objectives

    Setelah mempelajari bahan kajian melalui studi literatur, diskusi, tanya jawab,  penugasan dan latihan, mahasiswa dapat memahami prinsip-prinsip dasar ilmu fisika yang digunakan dalam ilmu kimia dan menerapkannya untuk menganalisis dan menyelesaikan persoalan-persoalan dalam perkuliahan kimia/After learning the Subject Matters through literature studying, discussions, questions-answers, structured exercises and assignments, students are able to understand basic principles of physics that required for the full range of to­pics that make up a university degree course in chemistry.
