An improved version of Vista, this in addition to a new Aero user interface, the Internet Explorer 8.0 and DirectX 11 contains. A multi touch device support is also implemented. The appropriate server will be the Server 2008 R2, which will no longer appear in a 32-bit version.

Even rumors are still very thin on the successor of Windows 7. Not even the name is confirmed. Windows 8 is a free label of the press. It is known that the new Windows to get a new interface. Where changes and appearance are unknown. Also, there will be a port Windows to ARM processor family, which especially in mobile phones and tablets use. All seems drivers and programs however for this platform must be compiled mostly at least new.
