THE ROLE AND IMPORTANCE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN IMPROVING
THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION

Annotation: This article provides a brief explanation of the concept of digital technologies, the
priorities of the digital development of the educational process,
its advantages, and the
importance of evidence-based implementation of digital technologies in education.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mirziyoyev Shavkat Miromonovich in his address
to the Oliy Majlis proposed naming 2018 as "the year of supporting active entrepreneurship,
innovative ideas and technologies". As our president said: "Innovation is the future. If we start
building our great future today, we should start it on the basis of innovative ideas and an
innovative approach".
The following main tasks aimed at the development of innovation and innovative activity in our
republic were defined:"Development
of scientific, research and innovative activities,
mobilization of necessary financial resources, participation of talented young people, creative
ideas and developments in this process will be in the center of our attention." Today, the use of
innovative ideas and digital technologies is of great importance in the development of the
activities of every sphere of society.
∙ The concept of innovation began to be used in work in the 19th century, and it represented
the introduction of individual elements from one field to another.
By studying the laws of
introduction of technical innovations, he served to master the "innovation policy" as a whole
system for the benefit of the enterprise and organization. This activity has general features,
laws, and a mechanism for updating the voluntary part of society's life.
∙ Innovative technologies require innovations and changes to the activities of teachers and
students in the pedagogical process, and the use of interactive methods in its implementation.
Interactive methods are based on the activity of each student who is a participant in the
educational process, free and independent thinking. The use of these methods serves to further
increase the student's interest and passion for learning, and they acquire skills and abilities for
independent work. Pupils acquire new knowledge on the basis of scientific research, research,
experimental tests. The principle of gaining knowledge through science is followed.
Participants of the educational process work in small groups. Assignments are not given to
individual
students, but to all members of a small group. The main form of organizing the
teaching process is the lesson. Currently, various non-traditional forms of lessons are being
introduced. Such lessons serve to increase the student's creative ability, develop his intellectual
potential, expand his scientific worldview, and develop the skills and abilities to quickly and
fully accept every new thing. The use of innovative technologies in the course of the lesson
arouses interest in scientific research in students, develops creativity and creativity. As a result,
acquired knowledge, skills and abilities are applied in practical activities, the quality of learning
