Issue: Network and printer utilities might retrieve the wrong values for the settings on the Multi-Function Printers.
Work Around: To view these settings please use the Printer’s Operational Panel.
Issue: Cannot install two USB printers on the same computer simultaneously when using the KMUSB port.
Work Around: Install the printers using the Microsoft USB port.
Issue: When installing a printer on a Windows 2003 that is connected to a USB port, the Kyocera USB port is not installed and the installation is unsuccessful.
Work Around: Use the Microsoft USB Printing support
Issue: The Auto Installer and KM Deleter Utility do not launch in Windows 95 with Internet Explorer versions prior to 4.0
Work Around: Install Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher
Issue: Auto-created Citrix® MetaFrame XP™ printers do not reflect the device settings of the locally installed client printers within a Terminal Services Edition (TSE) session.
Work Around:
This is designed behavior by Citrix and is not a Kyocera issue. As such, there is no solution; however there is a work around.
Start a Citrix terminal Services/Client session on the Citrix client.
Click the Start button, then Settings and then Printers (within the client session).
Right click the Auto-created Queue and select Properties from the pop-up menu.
Configure the printer queue to match the locally installed printer driver on the Citrix client.
Click the General tab and add some text annotations to the Comments field after the Citrix information.
Click OK
Warning! When this solution is utilized, the Auto-created queue is not deleted from the Citrix when the client session is terminated. This means that if there are 200 clients with local printers installed, then there will be 200 print queues created on the server and not deleted when the client sessions are ended.
