    Platinaning sirtidan jami quvvat nurlanib, uning yorug‘lik oqimi ga teng bo‘ladi. Ta’rifda keltirilgan yuzasidan esa quvvat nurlanib, uning yorug‘lik oqimi ga teng bo‘ladi. Bunda ko‘rinuvchi to‘lqinlar uchun platina sirtining o‘rtacha yorug‘lik berishi ga teng bo‘lib, barcha nurlanishlar uchun esa ga teng bo‘ladi.
    Yuqorida biz platinani oddiy jism emas, balki absalyut qora jism deb hisob-kitob ishlarini bajardik. Aslida biz uni oddiy jism ekanini, ya’ni har bir tor orqliqqa mos to‘lqin uzunlikka mos nur yutish qobiliyatlarini e’tiborga olib hisoblash ishlarini bajarganimizda edi umuiy yorug‘lik oqimi qiymat chiqargan bo‘lar edik. Lekin shunga qaramasdan bu hisob-kitob ishlari orqali har qanday qizigan jismlar hosil qilgan yorug‘lik oqimi hisoblash mumkinligiga ishonch hosil qilish mumkin.
    Yuqorida aytib o‘tilgan tushunchani zamonaviy dasturlar yordamida o‘zlashtirish qator afzalliklarga ega bo‘lib, bu talabalarda jarayonni to‘laroq anglab yetish imkonini beradi, talabalarni dasturlashga o‘rgatadi hamda ularning matematik bilimlarni yanada mustahkamlashga xizmat qiladi.
