Abstract.
This article is devoted to the study of terms related to the field of information
technology, quickly penetrating into all languages of the modern world, the role of vocabulary in
the language, the influence of neologisms on the process of its formation is studied in detail. The
analysis of methods of introduction, assimilation into the language of terms related to the industry
is carried out, in addition, the views of philologists, linguists and translators to these methods are
cited. As an alternative, based on the specifics of the terms, solutions to problems are proposed in
the process of their assimilation or translation into the language. The article covers not only terms
related to the field of information technology, but also slang, jargon, equivalent-lacking lexis, as
well as features of their transmission during translation. The analysis of published scientific
articles and publications related to the field of information technology is carried out, based on the
opinions of scientists presented, the author's opinions on the peculiarities of vocabulary related to
this field are substantiated. Based on the conclusions given in the final part of the article, young
translators are explained ways to solve problems that arise when translating vocabulary in the
field of information technology in the translation process.

Данная статья посвящена исследованию терминов, относящихся к
сфере информационных технологий, быстро проникающих во все языки современного
мира, подробно изучена роль лексики в языке, влияние неологизмов на процесс его
формирования. Проведен анализ способов внедрения, усвоения в язык терминов,
