These ScreenTips pop up when users hover the mouse over an appointment or event on the Calendar, allowing them to view the complete subject details of the appointment that is truncated in the Calendar view.
With Outlook 2000, users can view a five-day work week using a single mouse click. This functionality is accessible directly from the Calendar toolbar and is also available by selecting five continuous days in the Date Navigator.

As illustrated in the following figure, Outlook 2000 gives users the choice of a contrasting background color to make it easier to distinguish between times occupied by an appointment and free time.

Enhanced Calendar Printing Options
Laptop computers and the tight integration of Outlook with the Pocket Outlook for Windows CE, Palm Pilot and other handheld PCs give users excellent options for taking their Calendar and other information with them as they travel. However, printing a calendar continues to be important to customers who need to bring a paper copy of their calendar on the road, take one to a meeting or give one to an associate.
Previous versions of Outlook included broad printing flexibility and support for leading paper calendar and binder sizes and formats. Outlook 2000 addresses some common user requests and complements the enhancements made in the Calendar views. Users can now print appointments with word-wrapped details in the daily, weekly and monthly print styles. There is also an option to print monthly views with exactly one page per month.
Finally, users can choose to omit from printed output appointments marked as private.
