To make automatic telephone dialing and sending faxes from Outlook reliable, Outlook displays a pop-up confirmation dialog box when the user enters an unusual phone number for a contact. This helps ensure that the user enters a valid phone number. The user can display the phone number confirmation dialog box by double-clicking on the phone number text box.
