In recent years, in our country, the use of national characteristics in education has 
become increasingly relevant in many respects. In the age of high technology, the thread 
that connects us with the past, present and future is lost. Modern man must restore and 
preserve that fragile thread that presupposes national characteristics. The national feature 
carries all the richness of national culture, traditions, spiritual aspirations and values, it 
enhances the role of the human factor in education, actualizing the development of the 
spiritual culture of the student, his independence, creativity, activity, image, intelligence. 
One of the main tasks of education is the use of national characteristics in the teaching of 
school courses. The main opportunity for the effective solution of these problems is 
provided by the school course of informatics. 
Informatics is one of the most popular innovative disciplines in school education, which 
is one of the main courses that contribute to the development of algorithmic thinking. 
Informatics lessons are a laboratory of advanced pedagogical experience, innovation in 
organizational forms and teaching methods, an integrator of various school disciplines. 
In our country, the pedagogical substantiation of the implementation of informatics as 
an academic discipline is disclosed in the works of U.Bеgђmqulоv, F.Zоkђrоvа, M.Lutfullаеv 
and others. 
In the theory and methodology of teaching computer science at school, the great 
importance of studying the basics of algorithmization and programming by students is 
noted. In school curricula and teaching aids in informatics [1, 2], educational material on 
algorithmization and programming is presented. The most consistent and systematic issues 
of algorithmization and programming are reflected in the textbooks prepared by the team 
of authors led by B. Nakysbekov [4]. However, in a significant part of the programs and 
manuals, the goals of studying the basics of algorithmization and programming, the level 
and scope of application of specific methodological recommendations do not realize the 
general educational potential of algorithmization and programming. 
The essence of our approach to teaching algorithmization and programming is to use the 
national characteristics of the study of this course. The use of national features in teaching 
algorithmization and programming makes the lesson interesting and exciting. 
Traditional methods of teaching school subjects (including the computer science section 
"algorithmization and programming") do not allow the child's individuality to be fully 
revealed. The content of computer science school textbooks (theoretical and task material)

is abstract, not taking into account the peculiarities of culture, lifestyle and perception of 
children of different nationalities, including the Republic of Uzbekistan. 
Taking into account modern ideas about an applied task, as a task that arises in the 
surrounding reality and is solved by means of algorithmization and programming, we 
believe that filling its plot with national characteristics contributes to the student's 
perception of it at the level of personal significance. 
We consider as national characteristics the specific properties characteristic of each 
nation, the mental warehouse by which they differ from another nation. They are mainly 
expressed in the peculiarities of the language, socio-economic life and psychology of the 
people. In the process of developing socio-economic life, changing the nature of activity, 
enriching the language, flourishing culture, national characteristics do not disappear, but 
receive the necessary favorable conditions for their free development. 
In the process of formation and development, a person experiences the influence of 
national characteristics, acquiring these properties of the nation. 
National features have a significant impact on the various processes and phenomena of 
public life, on the educational process, which is part of it. 
For example, a task with the content of national characteristics for a 9th grade student. 
Example: Each camel lifts four bags of cargo, how many camels should be there to 
deliver twenty-two bags of cargo from Tashkent to Samarkand? See the result of the task in 
Figure 1.

In conclusion, I would like to say that the use of national characteristics in teaching 
algorithmization and programming in the school course of computer science is a means of 
motivating the educational and cognitive activities of schoolchildren, solving the problems 
of humanitarization of education and upbringing of the younger generation (for example, 
mastering the cultural heritage of the past Fatherland, revealing its value ), expanding the 
horizons of students about the originality of their living conditions, as well as increasing 
interest in the subject of computer science, developing creative abilities.
